An enchanting card-based fairytale adventure

Night of Full Moon is a free stand-alone card game that immerses you in the enchanting world of Black Forest, spun from the timeless tale of Little Red Riding Hood. You step into Red's crimson cloak, battling monsters with your cards to rescue your beloved grandma.

As Little Red Riding Hood embarks on her quest to find her missing grandma, the Black Forest, perpetually shrouded in darkness, becomes her haunting backdrop. The core of Night of Full Moon is deck-building, allowing you to customize your deck as you progress through your adventure.

Craft your deck and face fearsome foes

In your journey in Night of the Full Moon, the game will introduce you to a variety of intriguing characters, including the guardian of the forest elves, the formidable werewolf, the enigmatic witch, peculiar villagers, and hidden truths that slowly surface. They all have colorful personalities that can either be funny or disturbing, adding to the whimsical yet bizarre charm of the indie title.

In terms of gameplay, it brilliantly combines strategic turn-based card battles with seven distinct classes and over 600 collectible cards. These cards provide a rich array of abilities, allowing you to craft a unique playstyle. You'll also face off against 131 mysterious adversaries, each with its own special ability that adds depth and challenge to the fights, while the game's randomness keeps each playthrough fresh with random events and story choices.

Another notable feature of this game is the ability to restart battles after defeat, allowing you to refine your strategy and conquer challenging encounters. However, this title does have its shortcomings. Some players may find the writing a bit dry, lacking the vibrant storytelling often associated with fairy tales. Additionally, there's a missed opportunity for dialogue options after defeating enemies, which could have enriched the narrative further.

Deck-building meets classic tale

Night of Full Moon is a captivating journey into the world of Little Red Riding Hood, reimagined through the lens of deck-building and roguelike mechanics. Its strategic card battles, extensive card collection, and a wide array of opponents offer hours of engaging gameplay. While the writing might not be as rich as some would hope, it's a minor blemish in an otherwise enchanting experience.
